Our Story

These past years have been hard for everyone due to the pandemic which has limited our day-to-day activities especially for students who might be struggling in the classroom. Many schools transitioned to online classes, which affected the educational experience for both student and teachers. Therefore, some students lacked personal interaction that might cause them to fall behind. This has led to a deficit in learning for many students in the country. Even though, we are past the pandemic, its effects have left a mark on our current generation’s education. Our students are our future, so we must invest in their education.

We believe that access to education should be equal for all students. However, differences in socioeconomic status can result in inequalities in learning for many students. That is why Peer Outreach Connect strives to promote free and accessible educational resources for families across the nation.

At Peer Outreach Connect our mission is to provide the resources to those affected to adapt and overcome such challenges. We provide free online tutoring for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade via Zoom. Our volunteers teach a variety of subjects including Math, English, Science, Languages, and etc. Even the slightest amount of extra help can go a long way towards your children’s learning.

After learning to social distance during the pandemic, we realized that everyone can still be involved and active in our communities via remote learning. This is why we have decided to work with high schools and colleges to give opportunities to facilitate peer-led tutoring sessions with those who need it. This unique program will connect many different people from all over the country. Our goal is to help provide educational resources for students while also giving high school and college students community service opportunities to become more involved and connected to their community.
